The Sweetest Spots in Rhode Island

Sometimes when the sweet-tooth cravings hit, you can’t do anything about them. Instead of fighting the temptation for a decadent sweet, try treating yourself to some of the best desserts in the 401 area!

Knead Doughnuts

If you’re in the mood for a flavorful handmade sweet-treat, head over to Knead Doughnuts.@Kneaddoughnuts has somehow created a doughnut for everyone. Located in historic Providence, you can choose from an array of old fashioned, cake style, brioche-made, and filled doughnuts. They also have vegan and “flour-less” options so that those with dietary restrictions can enjoy the baked goods, too. Plus, thanks to them partnering with Dash Delivery, you can now enjoy a Vanilla Bean Brioche doughnut without having to leave the comfort of your couch!

Three Sisters

This lively and buzzing shop is always sure to impress with their homemade ice cream and delicious milkshakes and affogatos. At the @threesisters_ri eatery you will find dozens of flavors that you’ll never be able to get enough of! My personal favorite is Fluffernutter, although a close second is Cookies and Mint. Who says you can’t have your ice cream and eat it too? Stop in for a scoop (or three) of your favorite flavor in a cone and then take a pint home to enjoy later!

Pastiche Fine Desserts

It is no kept secret that Federal Hill in Providence is home to some of the best food in the state. Pastiche Fine Desserts is no exception to this! @Pasticheri has spent over three decades perfecting classic European-style sweets. You can enjoy tiramisu, tarts, macaroons, and more with a hot cup of tea or espresso in this intimate eatery. If the sun is shining and you want some fresh air, order takeout and stroll down to Garibaldi Square to enjoy your sweets there.
